I noticed that the Id values are all 36-byte char fields. For both space and performance, when using UUID values in SQL Server, I try to use COMB values (with the last 6 bytes replaced by the date/time). It is both a lot smaller (16 bytes) than character fields and more efficient than standard UniqueIdentifiers. It seems like the data structures could still be the same. Has anyone attempted that?
