Hi, I have published a Cloudscribe site using aspnet core 3.1. The site is mvc and uses the Forms and Surveys, but not yet purchased until I am sure the organization is happy. I set that up in Visual Studio. For some reason, even though I save settings, they are being automatically changed. Example: for email settings, my password is replaced with a very long string of characters, the port is changed to 25 from 587, and https:// is added before the url of the email server. I try to fill the CS email settings exactly to match my app.production.settings file, but this always occurs. As well, not all settings seem to be retained from Edge to Chrome to Brave. So, I am wondering what is wrong. Perhaps you can help. You had advised me before not to use the email settings in the administration area, but just use the app.production.settings file. That did not work-- but again, the problem seems to be with entries being overwritten. Perhaps I need to add a hash or key# to the app.production.settings file for the "DataProtectionBlobStorageConnectionString" property. I was not sure. Thank you for any help. I did originally see the contact form, but it disappeared as soon as I added the email settings. o dear. When I initially published the site, the server adds a web.config file. I have adjusted this to retain the https which otherwise does not hold. I realize aspnet core does not use a web config file. ? Maybe the web.config file is interfering with CS? I use an Aspnet hosting company.
